Chief Ikenga Imo on Orji Uzo Kalu's latest breath of fresh air

Nigeria is just a joke ....People do anything they like just to escape justice.

Look at the letter written by Orji Uzor Kalu's lawyer asking the Appeal Court to allow the Federal High Court Judge who was hearing Kalus case at the Federal High Court before his promotion to Appeal Court to continue hearing the matter despite his promotion and that bringing another Judge will cause Kalu a lot of pain cos the matter will be started afresh.

Unfortunately Kalu lost before that Judge and when Kalu went to Supreme Court he turned around and claimed that he didn't get fair hearing and that the Judge who ruled against him didn't have the jurisdiction because He has been promoted to the Appeal Court and that the Administration of Justice Act which empowered the Judgment to be delivered by that Judge was Null and Void .Since its in Nigeria ,the lawyer who did this up and down will always get away with it.

Today ,the supreme Court agrees with Kalu and quashed his conviction and ordered that the Case be heard afresh.

In Nigeria everything is a Joke. The lawmakers makes stupid laws that are in conflict with the Constitution(just like they want to amend NCDC act in 30mins) and desperate Politicians exploit it to run away from Justice. Kalu is just one of them,a lot of them exist that have not even be made to near the Court like Kalu,a lot are been shielded by the Present govt because of religion,ethnicity and politics. So you can see that Nigeria is not developing until deep rooted changes are made to reform the present confusion represented by the incompetent executive, legislative and judiciary leadership or the country crashes on its own.
